Travel & Accommodation
Directions to Dalby Forest
Dalby Forest is located in the heart of the North York Moors National Park near the market town of Pickering. All concert traffic enters Dalby Forest using the main visitor entrance (near Pexton Moor Farm). Search for postcode YO18 7LU to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.
The nearest train stations are Malton (17 miles away), or Scarborough (19 miles away), on the Liverpool and Manchester to Scarborough line.
Only pre-booked taxis will be allowed on site, we do not have a taxi rank of cars waiting for passengers. Make sure you’ve considered your return journey before arriving and book in advance.
Please use the designated pick up point to meet with your taxi or lift home. Do not arrange to meet them on the main road. This is dangerous due to high speed traffic at night and would have an adverse impact on our neighbours.
All Dalby Forest Live car parks open at 4:30pm.
Accessible Blue Badge Parking can be requested via Forestry England using the Online Accessibility Booking Form, (same charges apply).
Camping is not allowed on site or in the car park area.

Accessible parking must be pre-booked (charge of £8 applies). This is provided within the main car park and the surface is gravel.
The designated accessible arena entrance is situated 50m from the accessible car park along a grass path.
A raised Accessible Viewing Platform is provided for customers who are wheelchair users, or who have health conditions or other disabilities where they have to remain seated for long periods of time. This is situated 150m from the accessible entrance on a grass path. All places on the accessible Viewing Platform must be pre-booked. The platform is located approximately 75m from the stage. The platform has a non- slip surface and is double level with ramps.
A ground-level, grass Accessible Viewing Area is provided beside the viewing platform for customers who have health conditions or other disabilities and need a less crowded area and access to the accessible toilets. Please be aware that the ground-level viewing area will not be perfectly flat; the grass surface may be uneven and may be on slight slope due to the topography of the site. There will not be an unrestricted sight line of the stage in this area, as there will be customers in front of the ground-level grass Accessible Viewing Area who are likely to be standing up. All places in the ground-level grass Accessible Viewing Area must be pre-booked.
Registered assistance dogs are permitted, but the live sound may disturb the animal. No other dogs are allowed on site.
Lasers and strobe lighting may be used as part of the performance.
Accessible toilets are located on the ground to the side of the platform. Additional accessible toilets are located outside the arena near the accessible parking area.
Drop off and Pick up
The main drop off and pick up point is 450 metres (approx. 10 min walk) from the arena. The path is crushed stone and short-mown grass.
Customers with an accessibility need, who are arriving by taxi or personal lift, must contact us in advance, so arrangements can be made for drop off and collection.
