About the artist

MJ Cole is a British composer, producer and live performer whose work has shaped UK music from 2-step garage to orchestral and cinematic projects. A key architect of late-90s UK Garage, his breakthrough single “Sincere” helped take the sound into the UK Top 40 and launch a career defined by constant evolution.

Across two decades he’s collaborated with artists from Stormzy and Jorja Smith to Mary J. Blige, released the orchestral-leaning MJ Cole presents Madrugada on Decca, and most recently scored the Sundance-premiered documentary The Disciple. In 2025 he marked 25 years of Sincere with landmark live shows including Glastonbury, We Out Here and a sold-out KOKO - reaffirming his place as a forward-thinking force in UK music.
